Managing the energy procurement process is not just about negotiating the unit rate of energy. We provide an efficient bill validation and query resolution service to ensure accurate billing which has resulted in substantial supplier refunds from incorrect bills.
We validate hundreds of invoices every week, identifying issues with up to 20% of supplier bills. Invoices are retained due to incorrect meter readings or rates, billing information or VAT, coding or other charges. Incorrect bills are not authorised for payment until all issues are resolved. Having made significant savings including improved supplier contract terms, Rendall & Rittner’s clients’ energy costs are now some 10% below industry average.
The strong relationship we have built up with suppliers over the last few years has resulted in greater supplier confidence and eradicated the need for security deposits which has been a great benefit for our client.
